students who donated their time. The art is part of a mobile
exhibit that tours galleries, shopping malls and other public
places to raise awareness. |

There are good reasons why people don't open a box of
memories. For some it is because the worst of times were, in a strange way, the
best of times. For others it is because the memories are too intense, too
painful. And for still others it is because we know that those days gone by are
part of the past and cannot be explained to those we live with in the present.
